Joe Terranova
On November 5th the Liquidator – a self proclaimed Bing user – fell back in love with Google. “Look at the action in this stock,” he said. “It held 530. Now it’s soaring back toward 550. You've got to be in it.”
In a little over a week, Google generated the results Terranova was searching for. Shares even hit a 52-week high since he made the call.
Guy Adami
On November 5th the Negotiator remembered ‘there’s no place like home’ – or in this case Home Depot. “They have a great shop and a great CEO that nobody talks about,” he said. “This stock has done everything you want technically. Goes up, pulls back. I think its due for another leg up.”
Adami’s trade was certainly well constructed. Over the past week shares have gone through the roof – up well over 5%!
Karen Finerman
On October 12th the Chairwoman suggested that Walmart didn't just offer bargains, the stock was one itself! “I think Walmart is a great defensive stock but nobody wants to own defense right now,” she said. “I think it’s a value.”
As it turns out, Finerman can spot value a mile away. With frugal the new black this season, investors are betting the cost-cutting Walmart wins in a big way.
