With the debt crisis in Europe growing more severe by the day, is now the time to invest in US stocks? Harry Rady, chief investment officer of Rady Asset Management, and Jason Pride, director of investment strategy at Glenmede, offered CNBC their insights. (Scroll down for their stock picks.)
Rady said investors should own a mix of domestic and international companies. He's particularly interested in nuclear-focused utilities and natural gas exploration and production companies, which are both near decade-low valuations.
"In both cases you're getting to buy world-class assets at 50 cents on the dollar," he said.
Pride said there are still headwinds facing the domestic and international economies. But right now, the debt problems in the US look to be less severe.
"On a near-term basis we think the US actually looks a good amount better [than Europe]," he said.
