Dutch FinMin: New euro aid plan has Greek-like conditions

AMSTERDAM, May 10 (Reuters) - A new $1 trillion rescue program for euro zone countries would impose austerity conditions on borrowers similar to those recently placed on Greece, Dutch Finance Minister Jan Kees de Jager said on Monday. In a letter to the Dutch Parliament informing it of details of the program, De Jager also said it was important that Spain and Portugal in particular had indicated they would take steps to make substantial budget cuts in 2010 and 2011. Both countries had been seen to be at the greatest risk for a Greek-style debt crisis of late.
