Lightning Round: Bank of Ireland, First Solar, MannKind and More

Bank of Ireland : Stay away from IRE, Cramer said. He likened it to National Bank of Greece and Allied Irish Bank and said all of them “bad banks” that need to reconstitute their balance sheets, “which means potential dilution for shareholders.”

First Solar : Sell FSLR, Cramer said. He thinks the solar business is too dependent on government subsidies, in an are of shrinking budgets, to make this stock viable right now.

Eldorado : Cramer is bullish on EGO, though his favorite gold plays in order are: bullion, gold coins, SPDR Gold Shares and then mining stocks like Eldorado.

Deere : Deere is too cyclical a stock to own right now, Cramer said. He won’t recommend DE until it’s under $50.

Exelon : EXC is a buy, Cramer said. He likes this fast-growing utility and its 5.6% dividend yield.

MannKind : MNKD works as a speculative play only.
