ETF Inclusion in Circuit Breaker Imminent

ETF inclusion in circuit breaker imminent. The NYSE and Nasdaq are set to make filings within days that would put several hundred ETFs in the SEC's circuit breaker program, which currently includes only stocks in the S&P 500.

At the NYSE, the pilot program will include 344 of the roughly 800 exchange traded products — exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as well as exchange-traded notes (ETNs) — that trade at the NYSE.

Once a filing is made by the exchanges, they will likely be quickly approved by the SEC.
