Pops & Drops: Ethan Allen, TiVo...

Following are moves you might have missed. Find out why shares of Ethan Allen and TiVo popped while American Medical Systems Holdings dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Ethan Allen (ETH) popped 6%. A surprise jump in new homes sales may bode well for this furniture maker. - I think there's more room to the upside, says Joe Terranova.

TiVo (TIVO) popped 6%.Speculation on the Internet suggested the company's could be inking a deal with Apple TV. - Anything involved with Apple is a buy, says Steve Grasso.

A123 Systems (AONE) popped 13%. Barclay’s upgraded the stock to ‘Overweight’ from ‘Equalweight” and said the battery maker could benefit if customers Fisker Automotive and Navistar successfully launch their electric vehicles and ramp up production. - I was surprised the stock popped so much, says Karen Finerman.

Davita (DVA) popped 7%. DaVita partner Hospira said it started a U.S. phase I clinical trial of a drug to treat anemia in patients with kidney dysfunction. - Valuations look fair, says Guy Adami. I think it could go even higher.

Lorillard (LO) popped 2%. The cigarette maker reported a higher-than-expected quarterly profit with its Newport brand increasing domestic market share.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

American Medical Systems Holdings (AMMD) dropped 2%. Wells Fargo downgraded the stock to 'Market Perform’ from ‘Outperform’ saying shares are now fairly valued. - Keep an eye on this one, says Brian Kelly.
