ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 12, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- LongHorn Steakhouse today announced the opening of its first location in Arkansas. The restaurant, best known for its atmosphere and flavor of the American West, is located at 3805 Phoenix Ave. in Fort Smith. As part of its pre-opening training period, the restaurant recently hosted a Friends and Family night which helped raise $789 for St. Edward Mercy Medical Center.
The 5,569-square foot restaurant will employ more than 75 team members and seat 214 guests. Tina Mayeaux, a restaurant industry veteran of 3 years, will serve as managing partner.

The restaurant opens daily at 11 a.m. for lunch. It is open until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
