It may have ended before it began. Microsoft will block access on Kinect from a sex game being developed by ThriXXX, according to Kotaku.
As I blogged on Friday, ThriXXX is creating a game which would allow Kinect players to virtually move a hand over the body of a virtual porn star.
Microsoft told CNBC it wouldn't license or condone such a game. While Kotaku reports this means Microsoft can block the game, it's not clear the software giant will be successful.
There may be a workaround for the most determined gamers. Kotaku reports "ThriXXX's developers are still hoping to add Kinect support to its PC games sometime in 2011."
