Would You Pay Higher Taxes For Better Services?

States from coast to coast are grappling with a loss in their tax base. Services are being cut. Late Tuesday night, Illinois lawmakers passed a bill to increase taxes by 66 percent in order to close what could become a $15 billion budget gap.

As another round of snow strikes from the Midwest to New England, city leaders complain that budget shortfalls have left them with less resources than they once had to clear the roads.

We'd like to know if you would be willing to pay higher taxes for better services when big storms hit.
