Hedge Fund Trade of the Week: Visa

Where’s the fast money finding opportunity? In this regular feature Anthony Scaramucci aka The Hedge reveals his latest greatest pick!

This week’s trade is long Visa , the credit card giant at the forefront of global payments technology. It's worth noting that although Visa processes transactions it does not extend credit, issue cards or set rates.

Anthony Scaramucci thinks this stock is a value. “This is a very cheap stock,” he says. “It’s trading at 14.8 times earnings; it’s a consistent revenue grower and it’s been growing earnings at 20%”

”Also we see pricing power and P/E expansion,” he adds.

Scaramucci isn't the only hedge fund giant that likes Visa. Stephen Mandel’s Lone Pine Capital, Ricky Sandler’s Eminence Capital and Robert Atchinson, Phil Gross’ Adage Capital also hold the stock.

How much upside is Scaramucci looking for?

”I think it trades to $100 share over the next 12-18 months,” he says.
