Global food shortage is a problem that's not going away any time soon, Cramer said Monday. The "Mad Money" host added it's the best kind of problem to have, though, because it has plenty of stock solutions.
Cramer noted that food prices only continue to climb. As the cost of food increases, he said farmers have more money to spend. They use their money to buy tractors, fertilizer and other items that can help them to get more crops out of the same amount of acreage. To play this long-term trend, Cramer suggests "best of breed" tractor maker Deere . He also likes fertilizer maker Potash .
"These companies make a killing when farmers around the world are spending," Cramer said. "That doesn't mean you should pay up for them at any price, but it does give you a terrific reason to buy them into weakness that has nothing to do with this fabulous ag story."
