Although there is some downside risk, young companies with big ideas can deliver big returns, said Jim Cramer on CNBC's "Mad Money." There is probably no better place to look for these companies than in biotechnology sector, he continued, citing Alkermes as an example of an interesting speculative stock.
Based in Dublin, Alkermes develops drugs that primarily address disorders pertaining to the central nervous system, such as addiction, schizophrenia and depression. Cramer wanted to learn more about the company and its future prospects, so he welcomed CEO Richard Pops onto Thursday's program.
