Shachi Shah is a managing director at Barclays Capital, where she heads BCFS and BCFS-Americas, a specialist, multi-asset investment management business.
Shah, who founded BCFS in 2005, has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry.
Under her leadership, BCFS has grown to manage total global AUM of $29 billion as of Jan. 30.
In prior roles at Deutsche Bank, she led the development of innovative solutions, including the acclaimed Dynamic range of fixed income funds and the Sovereign Plus and Stability Plus funds—among the first commodity strategies in the market.
Shah is co-chairwoman of Barclays EMEA Women’s Network and a trustee of the IndiabilityFoundation, a co-educational charity for disabled children. She is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
