Top Refinery Plays Amid Hurricane Isaac: Analyst

As Hurricane Isaac bears down on the Gulf of Mexico, oil expert Andy Lipow told CNBC on Monday that a few crude oil players could benefit.

“I think the refiners still look very good, especially the inland refiners,” he said on “Fast Money.” (Read More: Oil Prices Fall Despite Storm Threat, Refinery Explosion)

In particular, a few companies that could benefit include Valero, HollyFrontier, Tesoro, CVR and Calumet.

Lipow, president of Lipow Associates, also said that the market could see gasoline prices decline.

“I think come the dead of winter, we should be declining, actually, about 15 cents from where we are now, putting us at $3.60 (per gallon),” he said.
