WHEN: TOMORROW, THURSDAY. OCTOBER 25TH AT 8:20AM ET

WHERE: CNBC'S "SQUAWK BOX"

In a FIRST ON CNBC interview, CNBC's Jon Fortt will speak with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer tomorrow live on CNBC's "Squawk Box" at 8:20AM ET. CNBC's Fortt will ask Ballmer about whether he thinks Windows 8 can breathe life back into the moribund PC market, how he'll position Microsoft's Surface tablet against a field of rivals that just got tougher with the iPad mini, and whether global economic jitters will continue slowing tech down, among other topics.

PLEASE NOTE: In addition to the live interview, CNBC's cameras were the first to get a look inside "Store Zero," the secret staging area Microsoft uses to plan the layout of its retail stores nationwide. Earlier this week, CNBC's Jon Fortt also sat down for the most in-depth interview Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has done about Windows 8, Microsoft's new hardware strategy, and the state of the global economy. Bites from this interview will also run during CNBC's Business Day programming tomorrow beginning on "Squawk Box."
