Julie Biel

Julie Biel is Chief Market Strategist and Portfolio Manager at Kayne Anderson Rudnick, in Los Angeles CA. Originally born in France, she grew up in Los Angeles. She earned a BA with a double major in Psychology and Economics from New York University, after which she joined Merrill Lynch in Equity Research. She returned to Los Angeles to attend the UCLA Anderson School of Business for her MBA. Following business school, Julie worked for a Bloomberg Foundation Climate non-profit. She has also worked in the Mayor's Office of Economic and Business Policy in Los Angeles. Ms. Biel eventually returned to finance first at Imperial Capital and then joined Kayne Anderson Rudnick in 2013. She is also a CFA charterholder.
