Chase Experiences guide: Access event presales, discounts and preferred seating

This overlooked Chase card benefit can get you access to exclusive dining experiences and events.

Share

When deciding which credit card to apply for, rewards, welcome bonuses, annual fees and benefits largely drive the decision. But once you have a credit card, it makes sense to understand and make use of all of its perks — even the features you weren't fully aware of when you applied.

Many card issuers offer special event access and perks, including Chase. Chase cardholders can take advantage of the Chase Experiences® program, which provides benefits at certain events, ticket presales and more. The best part is that these benefits are available with Chase credit cards and debit cards, so simply having a Chase checking or savings account gives you access.

Here's what you need to know about Chase Experiences and how to take advantage of its benefits.

What is the Chase Experiences program?

The Chase Experiences program grants access to perks for a wide range of events, from sports to music. These benefits include:

  • Presale tickets
  • Event lounges and experiences

  • Exclusive experiences

You can explore the options on the Chase Experiences site, which includes a rotating list of events and certain benefits tied to specific venues, such as the Chase Center in San Francisco or the Lincoln Center in New York City.

There are additional experiences for select co-branded credit cards, such as events for Avios cardholders and United Card Events. To be eligible, you'll need the right card, like the United℠ Explorer Card (see rates and fees) or British Airways Visa Signature® Card.

Sapphire Reserve Experiences

If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees) or Sapphire Reserve for BusinessSM (see rates and fees), both provide access to enhanced experiences.

Many of these events are aligned with these cards' benefits. For example, past events included access to a behind-the-scenes event for several Apple TV original shows, and new Apple Music experiences are coming soon. At the same time, Reserve cardholders can enroll to receive complimentary Apple TV and Apple Music subscriptions through June 22, 2027 (activation required).

You can also book organized Sapphire Reserve Trips to notable events around the world, like a (now sold-out) Día de los Muertos celebration in Oaxaca, Mexico, and an upcoming wellness retreat with Peloton in Turks and Caicos. Plus, access extra perks at select luxury hotels through The Edit by Chase Travel℠ collection. Eligible reservations can qualify for daily complimentary breakfast for two people, a $100 property credit and late check-in and early check-out (when available). These benefits align nicely with the cards' annual travel and hotel credits.

For foodies, the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program can help you secure reservations at top restaurants across the U.S. Every year, consumer Reserve cardmembers can earn up to $300 in dining credits at restaurants that are part of this program. (You can earn a $150 credit at eligible restaurants between Jan. 1 and June 30, and between July 1 and Dec. 31.)
