At 24 years old, American gymnast Shawn Johnson has accomplished a lifetime of achievements that include Olympic medals, a New York Times best-selling book, a business, a career in broadcast, and taking home the coveted mirror ball trophy on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide watched as a 16-year-old Johnson won four medals, including gold, on the balance beam at the 2008 Summer Olympics, which took place in Beijing, China. The athlete was inducted into the Gymnasts Hall of Fame in summer 2017 for her years of achievements.
