Robotics firm Engineered Arts makes incredibly lifelike humanoid robots using a combination of sensors, software, artificial skin and animatronics. The company makes robots for entertainment, education and research. The most lifelike model is called Mesmer. Mesmer robots can sense people’s body language, age and mood and react accordingly.
