The longer-term direction is for a weaker greenback: Analyst

Bilal Hafeez of Nomura says the dollar has some upside potential in the near term, but fiscal stress in the U.S. and possible changes in policy at the European Union and Japan's central banks will see a weaker greenback in the longer run.
