Thousands of students are expected to skip class to vote in midterms

The Walkout to Vote is encouraging students to leave class and walk to the polls to raise awareness for the midterm elections and to support those students who are old enough to vote. It is expected to draw thousands of students to the streets on Tuesday, November 6 at 10 a.m. Polls indicate young people may turn out to vote in record numbers this year.
