The United States just grounded the 737 Max 8 and Max 9 aircraft

President Trump announced the grounding of both the Boeing 737 Max 8 and 737 Max 9 on Wednesday. The planes are being scrutinized after two similar plane crashes only a few months apart, and problems have been reported with the plane's auto-pilot system. Numerous countries have banned the planes in recent days, and the U.S. was the last to ground the plane.
