Having a child can be exciting, nerve racking and sometimes dangerous. According the CDC about 700 mothers die from pregnancy related complications each year in the U.S. - more than any other developed country. Mahmee is a tech platform that is connects patients, doctors, lactation consultants and other health care providers to one space so that everyone on the mother's health care team is on the same page. Co-founder and CEO Melissa Hanna tells us the impact the company is having and how she plans to use the money she recently raised from investors including Mark Cuban and Serena Williams.
