Billionaire industrialist David Koch has died at 79

Billionaire David Koch and his older brother, Charles, etched their name as a powerful duo in the world of political finance. They also ran Koch Industries, one of the nation's largest privately held conglomerates. Their sprawling political empire spans across the United States and includes conservative and libertarian nonprofits such as Americans for Prosperity, Freedom Partners and Concerned Veterans for America. David Koch once ran for vice president as a candidate of the Libertarian Party.
