FAFSA: Finding financial aid

Before filling out a college application, there's another form prospective students should complete first. FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. For the 2020-2021 school year, FAFSA is the first step towards qualifying for grants, loans and work-study programs to help pay for college.
