A general election will dictate the fate of Britain's pound: Macquarie

Gareth Berry of Macquarie says investors are concerned about the pound dipping to 1.10 if a hard Brexit materializes. He says Macquarie's base case is that a deal is reached after the deadline is extended, and that could help sterling rally to 1.35 against the dollar.
