South Korea's opposition had 'surprisingly big defeat' in elections: The Korea Society

South Korea's conservative opposition faced a "larger-than-expected" defeat in this year's general election, thanks to rising public approval over how President Moon Jae-in handled the country's coronavirus crisis, plus how the pandemic "eclipsed" other issues that were "not playing so well" in his administration, says Kathleen Stephens, chairperson of The Korea Society.
