China is in a precarious financial position to face Covid-19 challenges: Analyst

With the National People's Congress about to commence in Beijing, analyst Fraser Howie says that China may be in its worst-ever financial position to face serious growth and employment challenges, and warns that the "pantomime event" is not likely to achieve any productive solutions. He also warns that the risks of war with Taiwan are rising, and Beijing could use the NPC to further stoke nationalist fervor against the island.
