Hong Kong's role as China's link to the world will keep eroding, says expert

China's proposed national security law for Hong Kong comes as an unsurprising move, says Bilahari Kausikan, chairman of the Middle East Institute at the National University of Singapore. He adds that "Hong Kong's historical role as an intermediary with the rest of the world and China has eroded, and will continue to erode."
