Flooding the oil market was a 'very big mistake,' says Qatari energy minister

The recent oil market flooding was "bad timing" given the "double whammy" to the global economy from the coronavirus pandemic, says Saad Sherida al-Kaabi, Qatar's energy minister. He adds that he hopes the oil market will adopt a "more sensible" supply and demand approach moving forward, and that demand will recover gradually as people emerge from quarantine.
