A group of celebrities such as Kim Kardashion West and Ashton Kutcher have said they will participate in a 24-hour Instagram "freeze" on Wednesday as part of the "Stop Hate for Profit" movement. The action has received criticism, with people taking to social media to say that boycotting the platform for one day is an ineffective form of protest.
