China's shadow banking saw a 'steady decrease' over the last few years: Moody's

Although China's shadow banking system saw a "slight increase" of 650 billion yuan in its latest quarter, the overall trend is clearly downwards, says Michael Taylor of Moody's Investors Service. He also says that the country's newly-launched countercyclical capital buffer mechanism to help banks manage financial risks is "consistent" with global standards.
