Japan regional bank mergers should and will happen: CreditSights

Pramod Shenoi from CreditSights says mergers among the regional banks in Japan are overdue due to cost pressure. He doesn't expect bigger banks acquiring small players as they would likely steer clear of additional credit risk from SME loans.
