Former FDA chief Scott Gottlieb on FDA's approval of remdesivir to treat Covid-19

The FDA has approved its first treatment for Covid-19 here in the U.S. Covid-19 patients who have taken Gilead's remdesivir have shown signs of improvement and shortened hospitalizations. Dr. Scott Gottlieb, member of the boards of Pfizer and biotech company Illumina and former FDA commissioner, joins "Squawk Box" to discuss.
