White House declined Pfizer's offer to secure more Covid vaccine doses: Board member Gottlieb

Dr. Scott Gottlieb, board member at Pfizer and biotech company Illumina as well as former FDA commissioner, told CNBC's "Squawk Box" on Tuesday that Pfizer offered its second quarter allotment of Covid-19 vaccine to the Trump administration multiple times, but the government declined to strike an additional agreement on the option to purchase, relying instead on multiple other vaccine agreements.
