Warner Media CEO Jason Kilar talks HBO Max, the future of movies and sports

Warner Media CEO Jason Kilar says he expects HBO and HBO max to grow from 61 million subscribers in late 2020, to between 120 million-150 million subscribers worldwide by the end of 2025. That's up from its prior forecast of 75 million-90 million. Kilar says growth will be driven partly by the service's launch in 60 international markets in June, and a lower-cost ad-supported service, debuting in the same month.
