Senate votes to advance anti-Asian hate crimes bill

The Senate voted to advanced a key bill that would address the increased number of incidents against Asian Americans. The Covid-19 Hate Crimes Act would direct the Justice Department to expedite review of pandemic-related hate crimes and help police agencies establish ways to report such incidents.
