Clubhouse CEO Paul Davison on pandemic growth, monetization, outlook and more

CNBC unveiled its 2021 Disruptor 50 list Tuesday morning. Clubhouse is an audio-only social app that's similar to podcasts, but less prescriptive with its live, unfiltered content. In just a year, the company has seen explosive growth and forced industry incumbents like Facebook, Twitter and Spotify to introduce similar audio products, or in some cases, make strategic acquisitions within the space. The rise helped the company rank 33 on the list. Paul Davison, Clubhouse co-founder and CEO, joined "Squawk Box" on Tuesday to discuss the company's success during the pandemic, plans for monetization, outlook and more.
