China knows there is no 'direct parallel' between Ukraine and Taiwan, says former Singapore diplomat

Bilahari Kausikan of the National University of Singapore's Middle East Institute, who was formerly permanent secretary of Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, says he finds it "very difficult" to see the U.S. staying out in the event of an "unprovoked attack" on Taiwan.
