Israel announced it has resumed its offensive in Gaza after accusing Hamas of breaching the terms of a week-long truce. The truce expired at 7 a.m. local time on Friday morning. The announcement comes one day after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with officials, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, in Israel and the occupied West Bank.
