Evergrande: Beijing policymakers don't really care about credit or interest, says China Beige Book

Shehzad Qazi, chief operating officer of the research firm, discusses the Evergrande liquidation order, and says the main concern of mainland China's policymakers is "making sure that folks that have paid for their homes ultimately get a house or an apartment that they're waiting on," adding that their desire is to "ultimately put a floor under the property market to stabilize the situation and to stabilize the overall economic growth, because that's the real problem."
