CNBC's Top States For Business survey may seem like a hypothetical exercise, but it is hard wired in reality. So, it's not hard to imagine a company's board using the rankings — and the supporting data — in deciding where to expand or extend operations.
It is also more than apparent that state governors pay close attention to the rankings — overall and individual — and perhaps even factor them into their sales pitches to companies looking to relocate.
Given such resonance we thought we'd build a poll based on some of the key criteria of the survey and give our viewers and users a chance to weigh in.
So, tell us what you think?
