Yesterday, the Tiger Woods tabloid world was buzzing at the notion that Puma’s Swedish brand Tretorn was interested in signing Tiger’s wife Elin Nordegren.
For its part, Puma denied any talks, but Tretorn told CNBC that it wouldn’t comment. This all got us thinking, would it really be smart to sign her to an endorsement deal?
One polling company says that answer is “no.”
As compared to people in the fashion industry, Elin currently ranks higher in awareness, but lower in appeal, confidence, energy, influence, talent and trustworthiness, according toE-Poll Market Research.
"You might expect the scorned wife to get a bounce in public sympathy, but we're not seeing that," said E-Poll spokesperson Randy Parker. "Aside from awareness, her scores are actually down as compared to pre-scandal."
