Some of the popular tech gadgets that consumers should look out for this holiday season are the iPad Air, Fitbug Orb and the Satechi iFit-1, according to Trae Bodge, senior editor for retailmenot.com.

Tablets are must-have gifts this season. The iPad Air features a 9.7-inch retina display and has a crystal clear 2048x1536 resolution. It also runs on the newly released Apple A7 chip.

Depending on the amount of gigabytes a user prefers, the price may vary. For example, the 16GB version costs $499 while the 128GB version retails for $799.

Fitness trackers are also popular gifts this season. Priced at $49.95, the Fitbug Orb is a button-sized device that tracks the users' steps, distance, calories and sleep patterns. It then sends the data to the users' mobile device via Bluetooth, providing friendly reminders and encouragement along the way. The Fitbug is compatible with most iDevices and Samsung phones.
