Way back in 1867, German immigrant Jacob Leinenkugel tapped a family business by launching a brewery in the logging town of Chippewa Falls, Wis.
The first year was a banner one for the small brewery, with 400 barrels filled and dragged around town in a small cart by a horse named Kate.

Five generations and many full glasses later, the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. is still serving up beer to the town—and to the nation.
In 1988, the brewery merged with Miller Brewing Co., which is now part of SABMiller, and boasted that it served America's "friendliest" craft beer.
Leinenkugels are still running the company and are serving up new beers under the family name. Brothers Dick and John sat down with "Chew and Brew" to talk about their family business and heritage, and we got them to tap into some of that sibling competition.
