Buffett wins first ever sports bet

Warren Buffett hit in Las Vegas this weekend.

While at the MGM Grand for the Floyd Mayweather fight, the billionaire investor decided to bet on a sports book for the first time ever.

Buffett saw the line that had Nebraska favored over Fresno State by just 12½ points. So he put $550 on Nebraska.

A few dozen other people saw Buffett make the bet and immediately went running to the window to place the same wager.

Nebraska won in a 55-19 blowout, making Buffett (and his new friends) just a little bit richer.
