Reaction: Crude oil prices rise 2 percent as Tropical Storm Harvey shuts US refineries

Our live blog tracked market reaction as oil prices rose 2 percent, recovering from recent losses. A quarter of U.S. refineries are shut because of flooding related to Tropical Storm Harvey, with some expected to be shut for up to two weeks.

This will feed through into reducing the amount of light sweet crude entering the market, pushing crude prices higher.
