Here are the stocks in the Nasdaq with the best chances of gaining in 2022, Wall Street says

Wall Street has high hopes for e-commerce company MercadoLibre as well as technology darlings Amazon, Alphabet and Microsoft heading into 2022. This year was a volatile one for technology stocks as rising interest rates in the first six months sparked a major rotation from growth into value. Despite this shift, the Nasdaq 100, full of the 100 largest nonfinancial stocks in the Nasdaq Composite, is up 21% in 2021. Looking to 2022, the Federal Reserve has signaled that it will raise interest rates to combat inflation. This could dent the tech sector, but Wall Street is still bullish on a handful of high-growth names. CNBC PRO screened for the most-loved Nasdaq 100 stocks on Wall Street heading into 2022 based on the number of analysts with buy ratings on the shares and the average expected increase as indicated by their consensus 12-month price targets. The stocks below have major upside to their 12-month price targets, with some companies expected to see near 75% gains in 2022. The list contains Nasdaq 100 stocks with at least 10% upside to their price targets and at least 70% of the analysts who cover the stock say they are a buy. Take a look at the list here: MercadoLibre , an e-commerce giant in South America, is expected to gain nearly 75% in 2022, according to Wall Street analysts. More than 82% of the analysts who cover the stock give it a buy rating. MercadoLibre is also loved by Ark Invest's Cathie Wood. The stock is the ninth-largest holding in the ARK Fintech ETF and is also a holding in ARK Next Generation Internet ETF. So-called FAAMG stocks Amazon , Alphabet and Microsoft also earned spots on CNBC Pro's list. Amazon is forecast to rally nearly 24%. Alphabet and Microsoft are slated to gain roughly 20% and 16%, respectively. That's even after the Google parent soared more than 60% in 2021 and the software giant added 45%. TurboTax parent company Intuit is forecast to gain nearly 27% in 2022, even after it soared 60% in 2021. Plus, more than 78% of Wall Street analysts who cover the stock give it a buy rating. Software companies Okta , Workday and Synopsys also earned spots on CNBC PRO's list. Okta is slated to rally more than 26%, while Workday and Synopsys are expected to gain about 24% and 16%, respectively. Cybersecurity technology company CrowdStrike Holdings , wireless carrier T-Mobile and Marvell Technology are also loved on Wall Street and expected to notch big gains in the new year.
