London, December 2010: CNBC Performance, CNBC’s weekly weekend arts programme, will be showcasing full-length performances of renowned opera and ballet by some of the world’s most prestigious companies every Sunday evening.
Performances include Stiffelio (starring José Carreras) by the Royal Opera, Don Giovanni by Teatro Real, Madrid and The Nutcracker (starring Alina Cojocaru) by The Royal Ballet, London.
CNBC Performance forms part of the channel’s CNBC Life programming block, bringing a new strand of the finest in arts and culture programming to CNBC’s elite business audience. CNBC has acquired the programming from Opus Arte UK Ltd, home to the world’s finest opera, ballet, music and theatre.
