LONDON, 22 September 2011 - CNBC continues its CNBC Meets series, which profiles some of the world’s most successful people, with a world exclusive interview with supermodel Naomi Campbell on Wednesday, 28 September at 10.00pm BST.

CNBC’s guest presenter, Tania Bryer has been granted a rare interview with the worldwide fashion superstar, focusing on her unique contribution to the world of fashion and looking at her many fundraising activities particularly through her high profile charity Fashion For Relief.

In the 30-minute programme, Campbell reflects on her childhood, even taking the cameras back to the home in Streatham, South London where she grew up. Speaking openly about how her early years impacted her life, she talks about how she is now able to use her position to give back to numerous charitable activities, including her charity Fashion For Relief which has raised more than £4.8 million for everything from Hurricane Katrina to victims of the recent Tsunami in Japan.

A cast of fascinating and interesting characters are woven into the programme, most notably legendary producer Quincy Jones – a father figure and mentor to Campbell – who gives exclusive insight into what motivates and inspires her. The programme also focuses on the people that have mentored her throughout her life, from Bob Marley to Nelson Mandela.
